True Bovine Indian Yellow is our exquisitely hand-crafted oil paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every tube is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled using only pure cold-pressed walnut oil (linseed oil available upon request) and the maximum amount of hand-ground and richly textured pigment.

True Indian Yellow is a vivid, luminous yellow pigment made through the traditional method from the urine of cows fed on mango leaves, and purified into calcium and magnesium euxanthates. This rare, traditional pigment produces an intense, glowing yellow with a excellent texture, exceptional transparency, and remarkable depth.
