Description

Terre Verte is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled using only pure local honey and all natural gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally concentrated and richly textured pigment. Every paint is single pigment with maximum concentration and no binders, fillers, or extenders.

Terre Verte features a single, natural mineral pigment known for its cool, muted green tone and soft granulation. Traditionally sourced from deposits rich in celadonite and glauconite, Terre Verte has been prized since antiquity. Used by Renaissance painters for underpainting flesh tones and creating atmospheric, naturalistic effects, its subtle hue makes it ideal for glazing, botanical work, and classical portraiture, offering a gentle, desaturated green that blends effortlessly with other earth tones. Terre Verte's natural translucency and delicate texture bring a timeless quality to your palette, making it a must-have for artists who value historical authenticity and organic color harmony.
