Quercitron Watercolor Ink is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor ink made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every bottle is meticulously hand mixed, poured, and sealed, using only pure distilled water and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally vibrant and richly pigmented liquid.

Quercitron Watercolor Ink is a bright, golden-yellow dye made from the inner bark of the black oak tree (Quercus velutina). Widely used in the 18th and 19th centuries as a vibrant textile and artists’ dye, this pigment offers a glowing, plant-based yellow with excellent transparency and smooth, controlled flow. Its botanical origin and historical significance make it ideal for calligraphy, natural illustration, and traditional layering where warmth and authenticity are essential.
