Description
Manganese Violet Watercolor Ink is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor ink made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every bottle is meticulously hand mixed, poured, and sealed, using only pure distilled water and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally vibrant and richly pigmented liquid.
Manganese Violet Watercolor Ink is a rich, delicate violet made from genuine manganese ammonium pyrophosphate. First developed in the 19th century, this mineral pigment produces a soft, cool purple with a slight rose undertone and beautiful transparency. With smooth flow and fine granulation, Manganese Violet is perfect for botanical studies, atmospheric washes, layered glazes, and expressive line work. Its subtlety and clarity make it a favorite for naturalistic and classical work alike.
