Logwood Lake is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled, using only pure local honey and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally concentrated and richly textured pigment.

Logwood Lake is a deep, rich purple derived from the genuine extraction of natural dye from logwood heartwood—a time-honored pigment steeped in historic tradition. This captivating color delivers a beautifully saturated, gem tone with a naturally organic character. Its slight transparency and delicate granulating properties make it ideal for glazing, layering, and creating mood-rich, dramatic effects.
