Description

Logwood Watercolor Ink is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor ink made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every bottle is meticulously hand mixed, poured, and sealed, using only pure distilled water and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally vibrant and richly pigmented liquid.

Logwood Watercolor Ink is a deep, botanical purple-black made from the heartwood of Haematoxylum campechianum, a tree native to Central America and long prized in natural dyeing. This historic pigment yields a rich, moody tone with subtle violet undertones, excellent transparency, and smooth flow. With its natural depth and expressive character, Logwood is ideal for botanical illustration, historic reproduction, calligraphy, and layered ink washes.
