Description
Light Yellow Ochre is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor paint made with an extremely concentrated and high quality single source pigment mixed only with pure honey. Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, hand packed, filled, and labeled — ensuring maximum pigment concentration without any binders, fillers, or extenders. Our unique formula uses only one pigment and pure local honey, delivering a maximally concentrated watercolor paint.

Light Yellow Ochre features a single, natural earth pigment known for its soft, golden-yellow tone and gentle opacity. Mined from ancient clay-rich earth deposits, this pigment has been used since prehistoric times for its warm, sunlit hue and exceptional permanence. Its subtle warmth makes it a foundational color for landscapes, portraiture, and botanical work, offering a natural luminosity that enhances both traditional and modern palettes. Light Yellow Ochre blends beautifully with other earth tones and cooler pigments, creating a wide range of soft neutrals and skin tones. Its creamy consistency and smooth flow make it a favorite for layering, glazing, and dry brush techniques.
