Description
Lapis Watercolor Ink is our exquisitely hand crafted watercolor ink made with an extremely concentrated, high quality single source pigment. Every bottle is meticulously hand mixed, poured, and sealed, using water, pure local honey, natural gum arabic, a small amount of food grade sodium benzoate preservative, and less than 1% bentonite to slow settling and aid reincorporation. Every ink is single pigment with maximum concentration and no fillers or extenders.
Lapis Watercolor Ink is a sublime, rich blue derived from natural lapis lazuli, genuinely sourced from natural stone and processed using traditional techniques. This luminous hue, used in classical frescoes and timeless masterpieces, delivers an intensely saturated tone with granulation and beautiful transparency. Its smooth, fluid consistency and superb lightfastness make it ideal for detailed brushwork, expressive washes, and refined calligraphy. Perfect for artists who appreciate historical authenticity and classic elegance, Lapis Watercolor Ink infuses your work with a timeless, celestial quality.
