Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled, using only pure local honey and all natural gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally concentrated and richly textured pigment. Every paint is single pigment with maximum concentration and no binders, fillers, or extenders.

Dragon's Blood is a bold, soft pink watercolor made from the resin of the dragon tree (Daemonorops draco or Dracaena cinnabari), a substance steeped in myth, medicine, and ancient art. Used since antiquity across the Mediterranean, Middle East, India, and Asia, this vivid red resin was prized not only as a pigment, but as an incense, varnish, and healing remedy.

Our Dragon's Blood watercolor is carefully crafted from purified natural resin and bound into a transparent paint with soft glow and a glassy sheen. It produces a soft, warm red, slightly leaning orange in dilution, ideal for magical illustrations, illuminated manuscripts, ritual art, and expressive work. Though visually stunning, it is delicate: this pigment is fugitive and best suited for protected, archival, or reproduction-based pieces.
