Cobalt Chromite Green Ink is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor ink made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every bottle is meticulously hand mixed, poured, and sealed, using only pure distilled water, raw honey, and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally vibrant and richly pigmented liquid.

In use, Cobalt Chromite Green gives a controlled, sophisticated green ideal for evergreen foliage, conifers, patinated metal, stone, distant trees, and cool shadows in landscape and figure work. It has strong tinting strength without the overpowering staining of phthalo greens, making it easier to adjust, glaze, and lift. It mixes beautifully with yellows for natural foliage greens, with earths for mossy, forested neutrals, and with blues, violets, and blacks for cool shadow tones and deep, atmospheric blue-greens that stay crisp rather than muddy.
