Chrysocolla is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled—using only pure local honey and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally concentrated and richly textured pigment.

Chrysocolla is a striking mineral pigment composed of hydrated copper silicate, producing a vibrant, bluish-green with complex granulation and a soft, velvety texture. Used since antiquity as a decorative pigment, this natural stone yields a radiant, semi-transparent paint with cool undertones and organic variation across the page. Chrysocolla is ideal for expressive landscape work, mineral palettes, and layered botanical compositions that benefit from natural granulation and chromatic depth.
