Chrome Green is our exquisitely hand-crafted encaustic wax paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every encaustic stick is meticulously handmade, poured, and labeled using only pure, filtered beeswax, all natural dammar resin, and the maximum amount of hand-ground and richly textured pigment.

Chrome Oxide Green is a dense, opaque green pigment made from chromium(III) oxide. It produces a stable, mid-green with slightly bluish undertones, excellent opacity, and superb permanence. Unlike earlier “Chrome Greens” (mixtures of Prussian Blue and Chrome Yellow), PG17 is a single-compound pigment known for its archival stability, non-reactivity, and resistance to fading.
