Chrome Green is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled—using only pure local honey and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally concentrated and richly textured pigment.


Chrome Green is a strong, earthy mid-green made from chromium oxide a. First developed in the 19th century as a durable, lightfast alternative to less stable greens, this pigment offers deep, natural tonality with mild granulation and excellent permanence. Its slightly muted tone makes it particularly useful in landscape painting, foliage, and classical palettes where naturalistic greens are needed.
