Description

Chestnut Ink Watercolor Ink is our exquisitely hand crafted watercolor ink made with an extremely concentrated, high quality single source pigment. Every bottle is meticulously hand mixed, poured, and sealed, using water, pure local honey, natural gum arabic, a small amount of food grade sodium benzoate preservative, and less than 1% bentonite to slow settling and aid reincorporation. Every ink is single pigment with maximum concentration and no fillers or extenders.

Chestnut Ink Watercolor Ink is a medium, warm brown capturing by the natural color of chestnut shells. This ink delivers a richly saturated, earthy tone with a naturally organic character reminiscent of classical botanical illustrations and historic manuscripts. Its smooth, fluid consistency and nuanced transparency make it ideal for creating detailed washes, expressive line work, and refined calligraphy. Perfect for artists who value authenticity and natural warmth, Chestnut Ink brings a timeless, organic quality to your creative work.
