Description
Celadonite is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source ochre mineral pigment. Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled, using only pure local honey and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally concentrated and richly textured pigment.
Celadonite is a soft, medium green mineral pigment traditionally used since antiquity, valued for its soft, natural tonality and fine handling properties. Sourced from natural deposits of hydrated iron and magnesium silicate, Celadonite produces a delicate, slightly smoky green with excellent transparency and smooth, subtle granulation. It is ideal for botanical work, figure underpainting, classical landscapes, and historic restoration, offering a direct and authentic connection to the mineral palettes of the past.
