Buff Titanium is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled using only pure local honey and all natural gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally concentrated and richly textured pigment. Every paint is single pigment with maximum concentration and no binders, fillers, or extenders.


Buff Titanium is a pale, warm beige watercolor pigment made from a naturally occurring form of titanium dioxide, lightly tinted with iron to give it a subtle cream-to-oatmeal hue. Unlike pure titanium white, which is stark and cool, Buff Titanium offers a soft, velvety warmth that mimics antique paper, sunlit stone, or aged linen. It's a staple for artists who love muted palettes, natural tones, and gentle transitions.


With strong opacity and minimal granulation, this mineral pigment is ideal for mixing skin tones, softening bright colors, desaturating palettes, and creating atmosphere in landscapes, botanical work, and naturalistic illustrations.
