Intense Arzica Weld Lake is our exquisitely hand-crafted watercolor paint made with an extremely concentrated, high-quality single source pigment. Every pan is meticulously hand mulled, filled, and labeled, using only pure local honey and a small amount of all natural, pure gum arabic to achieve an exceptionally concentrated and richly textured pigment.


Intense Arzica Weld Lake is a bold, luminous yellow made from the flowering tops of Reseda luteola, traditionally known as weld or arzica. This plant has been used as a primary source of yellow dye across Europe since antiquity. The pigment yields a striking, clear yellow with excellent transparency and a smooth, controlled flow.
