AlZnTi Violet Deep is our hand-crafted oil paint made with a concentrated, single-source synthetic mineral pigment. Every tube is hand mulled, filled, and labeled using pure cold-pressed walnut oil, with linseed oil available upon request, and a high pigment load designed to preserve the color, texture, and character of the pigment.

AlZnTi Violet is a modern synthetic inorganic violet pigment based on an the YInMn Blue system. It produces a soft mineral violet with a refined, slightly muted character, sitting between lavender, mauve, and cool mineral purple depending on concentration, particle size, and paint film thickness. Unlike strong organic violets, which can appear highly staining or artificial, AlZnTi Violet has a quieter inorganic body and a more grounded, ceramic-like appearance.

In use, AlZnTi Violet gives a delicate but distinctive violet useful for atmospheric shadows, florals, mineral palettes, flesh tone modulation, cool greys, glazing studies, and subtle violet passages. It mixes beautifully with whites to produce soft lavender and lilac tints, with blues for cooler violets, with reds for muted mauves, and with earth pigments for complex neutral shadows.
